Description

The Legend is a vehicle mounted 4 fly rod carrier that is hand Tig welded from high quality aluminum that can house any fly rod up to 10.5′ long.  All our safe tubes are 1 piece schedule 40 6061 high quality aluminum, this does 3 things to better protect your rods that other products cannot accomplish.  The thick wall of the 4 aluminum tubes provide less vibration during travel to help eliminate abrasion to the rods.  It also dissipates heat and reduces internal temperatures of the safe by 25% in the hot summer months.  The Legend tubes are lined with a high density, low abrasive polymer to provide ultimate protection of the rods.

The 1 piece tube length provides a seamless surface when loading or unloading rods, this means that your guides will not hang up on a seam and damage or break a rod.  We are the only company in the world that does this!  When you rely on your equipment to work flawlessly day in and day out The FlyRodSafe Company gets it!  A fisherman’s rods and reels are an investment, allow The FlyRodSafe Company to help you protect them for a lifetime!

 Here at FRS, we are also the only company in the world to provide a reel box that is hand Tig welded using 5052 high quality aluminum and bent in our 5 axis cnc press brake!  All other companies use molded plastic.  The 1/8″ wall of our box and door provide a sturdy structure to secure your investment.  The Legend door uses a pair of weld on hinges that can not be compromised.  Also incorporated into the security of this Safe is a set of compression latches that provide armament against theft!  Along with the latches is a bulb seal providing a waterproof and dust proof environment for your equipment.  Inside the reel box of the Legend is a Mahogany base plate that incorporates a 60 degree bevel for easier rod loading.  The Mahogany baseplate also houses a foam reel bumber and velcro system to keep all 4 rods and reels in place during travel.  Velcro system also allows angler to hold cork handles off of tube to prevent any wear.  As a design enhancement the Legend reel box is lined with a high quality black tweed.  The Legend reel box is large enough to house 4 of any large arbor reels on the market. In a final effort to further the protection of an angler’s equipment we have incorporated 2 high quality one way vents that equalize barametric pressure and wick the slightest moisture from the safe after fishing.

The FlyRodSafe Company has engineered our second to none mounting system to be reliable, sturdy and theft proof and comes standard with the Legend.  Cut from our 5 axis cnc Wardjet Waterjet out of 3/4″ 6061 high quality aluminum, these mounts are indestructable!  Always keeping your Safe securely mounted to your rack system and vehicle.  Mounts will clamp on to anything from .5″ in diameter to 5″ in diameter.  Mounts can be powder coated the same color as the Safe or they can be an alternate color to provide a unique look.  All hardware is stainless steel for long lasting durability.

The Legend Safe comes with standard decal package that has a brown trout background for tubes and 14 ga. aluminum logo plate that is also cut on our waterjet.  Logo plate can be custom cut to have any design and or logo for an additional $300.00 cost.  Custom colors of Safe, decals and logo plate are available upon request.  Custom wraps are also available upon request.  All wraps and decals are UV protected and of highest quality vinyl.  No corners are cut to maximize profits!  The FlyRodSafe Company makes products of the highest quality for a lifetime of use.  Believe me, you get what you pay for when you purchase a Legend!
